Nrusinh Jayanti
It was nearing to the evening of Vaishakh Sud 14. A ferocious battle ensued between the Lord and the demon. Lord Nrusinh grabbed the demon like a toy and flung him on his lap sitting in the middle of a doorway. He reminded Hiranyakashipu of his boon. The demon was neither fully inside nor outside, nor wholly on earth nor in the air. It was neither day nor night, but twilight. With his claws, which were not weapons as such, he ripped the demon’s stomach apart thus granting salvation to the demon king.
A compass for all Satsangis
“The Shikshapatri is a compass for all the Satsangis to show them the right direction – the Supreme path. There are two sailors. One among those two sails his ship without any direction. He has no compass to guide him – to show him the direction – the right direction. He will reach nowhere. He shall not be able to attain his ultimate destination. The other one has a compass. He will sail his ship in the right direction with his compass and anchor it at the right destination. He has nothing to worry and nothing to bother for. He has to hold firmly to the direction indicated by his compass.
16 Sanskars
In our Hindu Sanatan tradition, sixteen Sanskars are performed during the life of a human being. Sanskars means Sanshodhan-Parishodhan-Parishuddhi. Our scriptures cherish faith and belief in re-birth. Through Sanskar, Shudhi (purification) of Jeev (soul) is performed through all three types (Adhyatmik-Aadhibhautik- Aadhideivik). Our scriptures consider the human birth as eligible for Moksha-Mukti, it can uplift itself by becoming Dosh0Mukta through Sanskar. By performing Sanskars in every stage of human life, a Jeev can get rid of and can purify itself from all types of impurities carried with itself of all previous births and lives while passing through eighty four lakh yonis.
